What is recorded here

In pasture, on a break of a NE-facing slope. Faint traces of this levelled rath are visible as an arc NW-S which abuts a NW-SE field boundary at SW. There is no evidence of a bank on the SW side of the field boundary. The rath is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m). It is indicated on the 1894 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) truncated by a field boundary at SW.
