What is recorded here

In pasture, on level ground, to the rear of modern farmyard buildings. A stone is indicated and named 'Gallaun' on the OS 6-inch maps. It is listed as an ogham stone by Walsh (1972, 16). There are no visible remains of this stone. According to local information, it was buried in the 1960s near where it once stood. There is a possible ogham stone (KE047-078001-) c. 750m to the N.
