In pasture on S facing slope with good views of Cluain Hill. Children's burial ground in the townland of Ardcanaght (Aird Chánachta/hill of the Tribute), in the parish of Kilgarrylander, diocese of Ardfert, barony of Trughanacmy. Raised area (dims. c. 24m N-S x 14m E-W) with central depression (diam. c. 8m) in NE corner of field marks site of Children's Burial Ground. Annotated 'Killeen Old Burial Ground' on 1841 ed. OS 6-inch map where it is shown as a rectangular shaped area transected at E by field boundary running N-S located in NE corner of field. Area of uncultivated land in NE corner of field visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Two ogham stones were discovered inside this burial ground by the Tralee Field Club. They were removed from this burial ground and placed beside a standing stone (KE047-026----) decorated with rock art known as the Ardcanaght Stone which stands in a field 330m to the N.
