Tobar Ghobnait is a natural spring which reputedly had the power to cure sore eyes. Rounds have not been made here in recent times (An Seabhac 1939, 200). Ó Danachair (1960, 70) recorded the following details about this well; '"Tobar Ghobnait" - local. A well in a marshy field, in a tangle of willows and briers. Known to have been a holy well, but no devotions'.
