What is recorded here

Internal diam. c. 20m. This circular univallate rath is situated on the level summit of a local rise at the foot of Brickany mountain overlooking Dingle Bay. The earthen enclosing bank is overgrown with gorse and briars and is no more than .3 to .4m high internally and .8m high externally. Due to the poor and overgrown condition of the remains, it was not possible to identify an entrance. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 293. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
