A sub-circular univallate rath situated on the lower slopes of Brickany mountain, overlooking the Emlagh river valley. The land slopes downhill to SE and a small stream flows SE directly outside the N part of the enclosing bank. The earthen bank reaches its maximum height on the uphill side at NNW where it is 1.7m high externally and 1.2m high internally. On the downslope side at SW it is only .1m high internally and 1m high externally, and a 10.9m long section at ESE has been completely levelled. A 2.1m wide gap at W may mark the original entrance.
