Situated on the N side of the Knocknanacree ridge, overlooking the Anascaul valley, this oval univallate enclosure is defined by an earthen bank faced with drystone masonry. Along all but the N sector of the site, the bank acts as a boundary fence to a laneway and it does not differ in construction from adjacent field fences; it averages 1.2m in height. In the N sector, the bank rises only .5m above the interior but it is 1.5m high externally. The interior is bisected N-S by a field fence and the E part is similarly bisected E-W. The site is not marked on the OS maps as an antiquity and its classification as a ringfort is not certain.
