This roughly circular ringfort has been almost completely destroyed. The outlines of the bank and fosse are still vaguely discernible as a crop mark. The enclosure appears to have been about 44m in overall diameter and the bank was about 4m wide at base. Ashe (1954) described the site as bivallate but there is no trace now of an outer bank. He also noted a large souterrain. The site lies close to the N side of the main Dingle to Anascaul road, on a SE facing slope with good views in all directions.
