Toberreendoney/Tobar Rí an Domhnaigh [Well of the King of Sunday]: A spring well located in a rock cavity on the E side of the stream which forms the boundary between the townlands of Gortacurraun and Farrannacarriga. A small cross-inscribed stone is located in a small crevice a little upstream of the well. Its S face bears a simple Latin cross with T-bar terminals to shaft and arms.
Ó Danachair (1960, 71) recorded the following details about this well; 'A spring in the side of a deep gully. Much overgrown with fuchsia. No devotions now. " The inhabitants give rounds here generally on Sunday morning" - OSNB'.
