This stony mound is located on a slight SW facing slope overlooking the valley of the Owenalondrig river. It measures 15.5m N-S x 11.5m E-W x 1m in height and is irregular in outline. There are possible traces of a circular foundation at its N end; a pit near its SE end may be the result of quarrying. The site is known locally as a fort and it is possible that it is the very disturbed remains of such a monument.
