Lios Clochán na Lobhar: KE043-204---- has been described as a circular fort 'about 1 chain (20m) in diameter and 5 feet (1.5m) high composed of earth and stone' (OSNB Garfinny, 33). The extant remains consist of a densely overgrown stony mound, measuring c. 20m NW-SE and c. 11m NE-SW, in which the outline of one or possibly 2 hut-sites can be traced.
At the NW end of the mound, a roughly circular area (KE043-204001-), 7.4m x 6.6m, is enclosed by defaced and partly collapsed walling up to 2m high externally and 1m internally. An entrance gap at SE leads to a 2nd possible hut (KE043-204002-).
