On steeply-sloping, rough mountain pasture, overlooking the lower reaches of the Milltown river valley and Dingle Harbour. A circular corbelled drystone hut with a lintelled wall chamber at NW and entrance at SW. It measures 5.25m in diameter internally, and its wall is 1.8 to 2.2m wide and up to 2.05m high. The wall chamber is 1.8m long x .72m wide x 1.45m high. The entrance to the souterrain (KE043-085002-) recorded within the hut (OSM and local information) is no longer visible. However, outside the hut to NW, a roofing slab is exposed on the surface, and a ranging rod inserted through the gap below this, extended c. 2m before meeting resistance. Two modern walls extending W from the hut have created an irregular passage leading up to the hut entrance. The N wall extends WSW for c. 12m, at which point it incorporates the N wall of a sub-rectangular structure measuring c. 3.3 x 4.6m internally, its slightly corbelled wall standing to a height of 1.4m.
