Internal diam. 24.8m E-W, c. 25m N-S Reenduff: A univallate rath situated at the E end of a level pasture field, on the W slopes of the Lateevemore/Reenconnell ridge. The entire site is densely over-grown and could not be closely examined. The earthen enclosing bank varies from c. 0.8 to 1.5m in height. The external fosse is c. 2m wide and up to .4m deep along the SW sector, but elsewhere it is only faintly discernible. The interior contains much stone, and the centre appears to be raised at least 1m, but the extent of this raised area could not be determined. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 336. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 6 August 2013
