Tobar Chiaráin: This 'well' is simply a hollow in a rock where rain and sea-spray collect. It is situated beside Wine Strand and the turas which was formerly made here each day of May also included a visit to a well in the adjacent townland of Caherquin (An Seabhac 1939, 106; Ó Conchuir 1973, 44).
