On the 2nd edition of the OS map a symbol, similar to that for a standing stone, is shown untitled here, on a NNW facing slope overlooking Tralee Bay and the adjacent lowlying coastal strip. A large boulder, 3.6m long, 1.05 to .3m wide and .6m thick, appears to have been fairly recently set resting on top of a field wall immediately to S. Perhaps it formerly stood upright, but the evidence is insufficient for definite classification.
