What is recorded here

Univallate rath KE037-018---- is situated on a N facing slope about 400m from the S shore of Tralee Bay. The ruins of a stone hut (KE037-018001-) are visible a little NW of centre. This consists of a circular area, about 4m in diameter, enclosed by a low bank of grass-grown collapse about 1.4m wide and .2 to .3m high. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 492. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 7 August 2013
