Situated on a steep E facing slope near the entrance to a N-S valley with extensive views north to Tralee Bay. The land use is rough grazing for sheep with exposed rock outcrops, thin peat cover and heather. A sub-circular hut site (ext. dims. 3.2m E-W x 3.5m N-S) with a possible entrance down slope to the E. The walls survive to a maximum height of c. 0.4m.
