Situated on a steep E facing slope near the entrance to a N-S valley with extensive views N to Tralee Bay. The land use is rough grazing for sheep with exposed rock outcrops,thin peat cover and heather. A sub-circular hut site (dims. c. 4m N-S x 4.5m E-W) on a level terrace on a steep E facing slope, with a partial outer ring on the E side. Immediately to the N is a circular footing c. 1.4m in diameter.
