This souterrain is located on the steep SE facing slopes of a small valley that extends SW from Glenfais. Though there is no tradition of any associated monument, 7 ringforts occur within 600m of the site.
A single lintel is visible on the surface but the passage, extending at least 3m to NNW, is filled in to within .25m of its roof and is therefore inaccessible. The passage, .7m wide at roof level, is constructed of drystone masonry and roofed by a series of large flat slabs.
