KE036-006----, located on low-lying level ground at the SW side of Tralee Bay, is known locally as a 'fort', and was also reputedly used for the burial of unbaptised infants. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 736.
