Cosán na Naomh: The pilgrim's path that leads to the summit from the W side of the mountain is shown on the OS maps as beginning at Lateevebeg, but may have extended as far W as Fahan (McDonogh 1985, 74). The route passes close to many of the early church sites, calluraghs and holy wells for which the peninsula is famous, including Gallarus (KE042-071001-) and Kilmalkedar (KE042-026008) and Harbison (forthcoming) suggests that some of these sites may have been associated with the pilgrimage.
