What is recorded here

This feature is contained within the thickness of the wall of a clochaun (KE034-093004-) at W. The lintelled opening is now blocked but a small accidental hole in the wall provides a limited view of the drystone-built passage which is c. 1.75m wide and at least 2m long. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage (compiler) 'Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.' Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne (1986), no. 1038. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 30 May 2013

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
