On lower slopes of Brandon mountain range. Two conjoined clochauns shown on 2nd edition of OS map. Only one survives. It is an oval, corbelled drystone structure KE034-040---- with lintelled doorway at SSW and possible blocked doorways at W and N, either of which may have led into 2nd structure KE034-040001-. D: 5.8 x 4.1m. H: 2.2m. T: 1 to 1.65m. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter.
