Souterrain described by Cuppage (1986, 396, no. 1147) as follows; 'On lower W slopes of Brandon mountain range. Two circular conjoined huts of drystone corbelled construction, with a souterrain opening off the base of the E wall of N hut [KE034-035-----]. Souterrain/Wall passage: A meandering passage, partly contained within the thickness of the clochaun wall [KE034-035----], and partly underlying the ground outside the hut. The lintelled opening is 0.5m wide x 0.5m high. The drystone-built passage runs E for 1.1m then S for 1.45m, the latter section being 0.83m wide and 0.63m high. It then continues as an earth-cut tunnel, running E again for 0.75m and NE for 1.8m. The earth-cut section is 0.6m wide x 0.96m high'.
