Levelled enclosure surveyed in 1987 by the Castleisland District Archaeological Survey and described as follows; 'on a break in pastureland sloping down to the south with exceptionally good views over the low lying countryside to the SW, S and SE. Field fences have been removed from the vicinity of the site and a recently built farm track runs through its approximate location. There is no surface evidence of the monument. A local man informed us the fort was levelled over 60 years ago'.
