'This site was recorded as an earthwork in the Sites & Monuments Record for County Kerry (KE030-010----), however the site would appear to be a very denuded ring-barrow. The landowner indicated that the site had been substantially levelled around 50 years ago but stated that it had consisted of a central platform “about 4.5 feet in height with a ditch around the outside”. Traces of this barrow can still be clearly seen on the ground. The circular remains of the central platform measure 15m in diameter and survive to a height of 0.5m above the base of the encircling ditch. The ditch is 3.00m in width and the base of the ditch is 0.40m below the crest of the outer bank. This bank is 4.00m in width and a possible entrance, 2.00m wide, occurs at the east. The site is very denuded and its southern extent is hard to define. It is situated 15m to the west of a small stream.'
