'Situated in marshy, gently sloping, south - south-east facing land, this site is a well preserved example of a classic fulacht fiadh. The mound is crescentic or horseshoe shaped with the trough area opening to the west. The mound remains to a maximum height of 1.34m and measures 18.3m N-S by 17.8m E-W. The trough area is sub-rectangular and measures 4.2m N-S by 6.8m E-W.'
