What is recorded here

This record is for a 14th century slab bearing two figures which is mounted on the internal E wall of the babtistry on the W side of the Church of St. John the Baptist. The above description is derived from Bradley, J., et al. 1987 Urban Archaeology Survey Part XIV County Kerry. Unpublished report. Office of Public Works. Date of upload: 25 January 2012

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
