What is recorded here

This record is for a 15th century rectangular 'assumption panel' which is set into the N facing wall on the E side of the Church of St John the Baptist. Its original position is not known but it probably came from the medieval Dominican friary (KE029-236001-). The above description is derived from Bradley, J., et al. 1987 Urban Archaeology Survey Part XIV County Kerry. Unpublished report. Office of Public Works. Date of upload: 24 January 2012

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
