The precise location of a possible standing stone in the townland of Slievenavadoge recorded in the Minute Book of County Kerry Field Club 03/02/1940 (Vol. 1, 82-3) has not been identified. The Kerry Field Club recorded that; 'In his farmyard Mr. McMahon showed us a large stone which he dug up in one one of his fields. This has the appearance of having been a small Gallan'.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
