A tall sandstone standing stone conspicuously sited on level ground within 250m of Scraggane Bay at the N tip of the Magharees Peninsula. It is 3.8m high. At base it is 1.55m wide x .26m thick at the edges increasing to .62m towards the centre; NW-SE. The crosses, initials etc. carved on both faces are apparently recent additions as they were not noted in 1941 (CKFC, 222).
