In pasture on a W-facing slope. Depicted as an oval area (c. 34m N-S; c. 48m E-W) enclosed by a bank on the OS 25-inch map (1892) with a townland boundary incorporated into bank along W side from SW-ENE. When visited in 2000, it was evident as a very low profile bank (ext. H 0.25m) NW-SE. A disused lime quarry, used in association with a now removed lime kiln in field c. 30 to W, adjoins immediately to NNW.
