This univallate rath is situated in the corner of a pastoral field. The site has been much levelled and disfigured: a road running E-W cuts the rath on its N sector, and N through W to S the enclosing bank has apparently been incorporated into a fieldbank. On the E side, the enclosing earthen bank is 8m wide at the base; it rises to 1.1m above the interior and 2m above the surrounding land. On the 1841-42 OS map 'cave' is marked on the interior, though no surface trace survives today. According to the landowner, a souterrain (KE021-058001-) was uncovered a few years ago while ploughing in the field immediately W of this site but was later filled in.
