Internal diameter 31m N-S, 30m E-W
Lismaddra - Lios a' Mhadra (ringfort of the dog). This circular univallate rath is enclosed by a 7m wide earthen bank which rises to an average of 1.6m above the interior and 2.6m above the external fosse. The fosse encloses the whole site and is well defined and U-shaped: it is 2.5m-4.6m wide and c 1.5m deep. A fieldbank running NE-SW cuts through the fosse in two places, but it does not run through the interior of the fort. The entrance lies to the SE and is 4.6m wide. The entrance would appear to have been stone lined.
