Internal diameter 53m N-S, 59m E-W
Lisnaweenoch/Lios na Muimhneach, ringfort of the Munstermen. This rath is situated in the corner of a pastoral field. The W bank is cut by a fieldbank running N-S and two fieldbanks run into the SE corner. This univallate rath is sub-rectangular in plan. The enclosing earthen bank rises to a maximum height of 3m externally, 1.6m internally and 7m in width at the base. A wide exterior fosse surrounds this bank, measuring 3m in maximum width and 1m below the surrounding land. Situated in the centre of the interior is a possible house -site (KE020-049001-), oval shaped and constructed of stone. It measures 19m N-S and 22m E-W externally. The width of the bank measures c 3m, the external height of the bank measures .6m, while the internal height measures .4m-.6m. In the NW sector of the interior of this house-site is a small depression, 4m x 3.5m.
