This site, which is marked on the 1897 OS map as 'Tarmenerick' is reputed to be the burial place of St Erc. It is irregular in plan and is constructed of stone, now grassed over. The internal diameter measures 28m N-S and 18m E-W, and its maximum height above the surrounding land is 2.2m. There are two depressions in the interior. One in the W sector is oval in plan, measuring 6m x 1m x 6m deep, and SE of this is a circular depression measuring 8m N-S and .3m deep.
Extending out of the SE sector is a bank, c 14m wide at the base, which runs SE for c 13m before being cut by a fieldbank running NE-S. Extending out from the SW end and running W for 9m, before turning S and extending for a further 10m, is a low, gently sloped bank.
