This univallate rath consists of a circular area enclosed by an earthen bank c 5m wide at the base. It rises to 1m above the interior and 1.5m above the surrounding land. The interior is at a slightly higher level than the surrounding land and two main openings are evident, one to the E measuring 3.4m wide and one WSW measuring 5.2m wide. No permission was given to survey the ringfort. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
