Internal diameter c. 29m N-S, c. 37m E-W This sub-circular enclosure is situated to the SE of KE015-021---- and is marked clearly on the 1841-42 OS map. It is not as clearly defined on the later edition and has been much levelled. The enclosing bank, which surrounded an irregularly shaped interior, is much levelled, especially to the NW through N to E to S, where it is very low and wide and in places barely perceptible, measuring c 10m wide and .4m high. The rest of the bank from the S to W has been incorporated into a fieldbank. It is 3.8m wide at the base and rises to 1.2m above the surrounding land and 1.6m above the interior. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 601. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 2 August 2013
