Internal diameter 32m N-S, 33m E-W
Situated immediately N of a road which runs in an E-W direction, this univallate rath lies on low-lying land. It consists of a circular area enclosed by a well-defined earthen bank and exterior fosse. The enclosing bank rises to a maximum of 2.6m above the interior and 3.4m above the fosse. The average width of the bank at its base is 7m. The U-shaped external fosse is now very waterlogged and is 1.8m wide and 1.2m below the height of the surrounding land. A 7.4m wide gap exists to the W and provides access to the interior, which is at a slightly higher level than the surrounding land. Contained within the interior are small mounds which could suggest either house -sites (KE015-102002-) or souterrain (KE015-102001-) remains.
