Internal diameter 33.4m N-S, 36.2m E-W
This univallate rath is bounded to the N through E by a trackway; to the SE lies a dump, while immediately to the S lies a quarry. The rath consists of a sub-circular area enclosed by a well-defined earthen bank, 1.4m-2.4m high externally and .5m-1.9m above the interior. The interior is at a higher level than the surrounding land and access is gained by a c 4m wide gap on the W side. In the centre of the interior is an oblong mound, 4m x 1.8m internally and .6m high. On the exterior side of the rath to the SE and in the E sector of the dump is a possible entrance to a souterrain (KE015-027001-), which may be connected to the mound in the interior.
