This site lies about 30m SE of KE015-024---- in the same field. It appears on the 1841-42 OS map as a circular enclosure which has been slightly cut to the N through E to SE by a fieldbank. On the 1916 map only a slight semi-circular enclosure is marked and, though much levelled, it is still distinguishable today.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 524. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
