Clahereen/Cathairín (little stone fort). Situated on a rise, univallate cahir KE015-003---- has an excellent view of the surrounding area. The site is enclosed by a well-defined earth-and-stone bank
'Cave' is marked on the 1841-42 OS map, suggesting a souterrain (KE015-003001-). When first visited, the interior displayed three large house-sites, but all had been completely ploughed out when we returned to survey.
