This univallate rath consists of a circular area enclosed by a c 4.5m wide bank, which rises to 1.4m above the interior and on average 1.9m externally. An exterior fosse can be noted to the NE through N to W. It is shallow and round bottomed, measures 1.8m wide and .8m deep. It cannot be traced for the rest of the site. A 1.6m wide gap exists to the SE. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
