Situated three fields SE of KE013-015----, univallate crescent-shaped cahir KE013-017---- is naturally defended on the W side by a steep glen. The enclosing stone bank, which is now grass covered, is well defined and rises to a height of 1m internally and .8m externally.
In the interior are what appear to be three beehive huts (KE013-017002-, KE013-017003- & KE013-017004-), all interlocking. The stonework is covered in most places, but some drystone walling is still evident, especially in the hut furthest N. Its overall dimensions are internally 18m N-S, c 8m E-W and 1m-3.2m high. A small 3.4m wide opening is apparent to the SE. A 2.6m wide opening is evident in the enclosing bank.
