Internal diameter 36m N-S, 37m E-W
Situated on gently sloping pastureland, this univallate rath consists of a sub-circular area enclosed by a bank and external fosse. The enclosing earthen bank has a steeper, sloped appearance on the exterior side; it rises to a maximum of 2.2m high externally and to an average of .7m above the internal area. Surrounding most of the site is an external fosse, U shaped, 2m-3m wide and .5m deep. Numerous cattle breaks exist in the bank, but there would appear to be an entrance to the S which is c 10m in width. Projecting out of the exterior of the W and NW bank are two earthen banks, c 4m in width and .6m high, which travel W for a maximum of 9m until they touch the fieldbank running N-S.
