This well is not marked on any edition of the OS maps.
Situation and Description: This well was meant to lie about 20 yards N of Rattoo Abbey (KE009-056004-). However, no surface trace of the well survives today. About 120 years ago, the landowner (Gunn) closed it up.
Rounds/Legends/Offerings: Rounds were still paid to the well after it was closed up. It was known locally as 'Tobar na lour' and lepers are said to have been cured there.
