On the 1841-42 OS map this well was placed 200 yards N of its true position; however, this was corrected on the 1915 map. It is marked as 'Toberreendoney' (Tobar Rí an Domhnaigh - well of the king of Sunday).
Situation and Description: This is a shallow pool which has three steps leading to it. On the northern side there are three steps leading to the grotto. The grotto, well and steps are surrounded by a path and beside the well lies a whitethorn tree.
Rounds/Offerings: Still visited, rags and small religious objects are left as offerings.
