Internal diameter 28m N-S, 25m E-W
This sub-circular cahir with souterrain is situated on pastureland which is gently sloping N. The enclosing stone bank, which is now covered by grass, rises to a maximum of .9m high above the interior and 1.4m above the external ground level. A 2.6m wide possible entrance to the N provides access to the interior. In the W sector of the interior is a raised area, .8m high. Within this raised area is a depression, 2.2m N-S, 2.6m E-W and .7m deep. Also, 2.6m NW of this feature is a smaller depression, 2m N-S and 1.8m E-W, which is contained within the enclosing bank. 'Cave' is marked on the 1841-42 OS map, so these depressions may represent the collapsed chambers of a souterrain (KE009-026001-).
