Internal diameter 43m N-S, 43m E-W
Situated on a rise, with excellent views in all directions, this circular univallate rath is bounded to the N by a trackway running E-W. The enclosing bank is on average c 6m wide and 1.8m high externally and 1.2m above the interior. To the NE, the bank would appear to be constructed of earth and stone. N to NE the bank is much higher externally than in other parts, rising to 3m due to the trackway running alongside the fort. The interior, except to the N, is at much the same level as the surrounding land.
