Killeen burial ground is enclosed by a stone wall c 1.4m thick and c 2m in maximum height. The internal diameter measures 29.6m N-S and 26.2m E-W. A 1.6m wide gate is situated in the E wall. Numerous single stones are to be noted in the interior, and in the SW sector there is a large slab which is now broken. The 'Seven Churches' site of Kilmore lies SE of this site (KE009-009----).
